Four restaurant owners were found ‘cooking the books’, after an HMRC investigation uncovered an £800,000 tax fraud. ‘Jackal’ conman is jailed for tax fraud

A conman, who has been dubbed a “hardened fraudster” has been jailed for tax fraud. Restauranteur who cooked the books admits VAT fraud

A Leicestershire restaurant owner, who stole more than £180,000 by fraudulently underpaying VAT, has admitted committing tax fraud.
